Bylaws

We are a non-profit organization with strong bylaws. Charging for the software, selling advertising, selling user data and paying members are all prohibited.

No one holds a claim on the association’s assets, and its domain names, signing keys and trademarks are stewarded for the project rather than owned by anyone.

Open source

The software is free and open source, and contributors keep their own copyright. If somehow the bylaws were circumvented, you and everyone else could take the code and carry on.

Fauna is in closed alpha. Apps for iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Linux, the web and the terminal are on their way. The source code will be released soon.
